I'm also vegan, and it's been a few years since I completely stopped consuming any kind of processed foods. Once you know the truth behind these packaged industries, you can't go back.
Well…the living, simple food. But one thing I noticed is I have had a terrible relationship with my drip coffee lately. I have done the hot water and lemon thing, but I have been interested in trying the mushroom coffee instead I do enjoy a good cappuccino but the regular coffee just isn’t doing it for me anymore and I’m not sure I want to invest 500+ dollars into an espresso machine that has a bunch of plastic parts.
I’ve gone through my relationships with coffee too. I always encourage people to have it after an early lunch if possible, and definitely not on an empty stomach. You don’t need an expensive machine. A simple espresso maker from Amazon will do. I add two shots in my mug, fill the rest with hot water, add a dash of cardamom and a third teaspoon of coconut milk, and it’s amazing. Or I froth some almond milk and use that instead of water, or mix the ratio based on cappuccino or latte. Sometimes a mug lasts me two sittings. Just don’t drink decaf. It has chemicals you don’t want to consume.
I LOVE my Mud/wtr. If you decide to try it, please reach out and I’ll tell you how to make it delicious.
Sometimes it feels like there are just too many rules and I just can't wrap my head around it. But I loved choose from the freshest options of the foods you love.

Was a great read, Savitree.
No, once you taste true flavors and true health… you really can’t!
I’m saving this post to study later. Thank you for sharing. 🙏
Thanks Gretchen. I’d love to know if any one thing stands out for you.

Also, I will be cooking for postpartum women using this line of thinking about food, herbs, and what is healing.
