hi, Savitree! Thanks for this list. Sometimes I drink warm water in the morning with a bit of lemon. What's the difference between adding a squeeze of lemon vs ACV? Also, I think I remember a post about how to pack efficiently, but I did a search and can't seem to find it. Am I mis-remembering? Thank you!!
Hi Julie! Excellent question on lemon water vs ACV. They do a lot of the same things but there seems to be more discussion at this moment on the benefits of ACV. The question is, is ACV really more potent as people say it is? I don’t think there’s one straight answer to that question. What I can say is that I started off with warm lemon water, sometimes with honey, and it did wonders for my digestion and to soothe my nervous system. These days I do ACV much more often, and it does wonders, even more so, to curb appetite and regulate blood sugar levels. Lemon is more gentle than ACV. ACV is easier to keep than lemon, which I sometimes struggle to keep the right amount of in my kitchen. I also sometimes add a tsp of lemon and a pinch of salt to my glass of ACV, so there’s that. My best recommendation is to try both and see which works for your body. The good news is, there are so many ways to get to our goals, and often it depends on our body. Listen, and it will tell you.
On how to pack efficiently, I don’t know that I ever wrote a blog on that. There might have been private group discussions in it because I do recall a discussion on it. Do you mean pack efficiently or light?
Thanks for the note on what to add to water. I’ll do some experimenting. I can’t recall where that packing conversation was - maybe it was an in person conversation or during a group call. It’s okay, I’m narrowing my list of what to take to Costa Rica. :)
Thank you for this great information! I definitely plan to incorporate some of these into my daily routine!
You’re so welcome, enjoy! If you end up with a favorite, I’d love to hear about it 😊👂
